It. Is. Chapping.
It’s as if it went from lukewarm to blitz in like the space of a day. Now, I don’t know about you, but my skin is really really feeling it.
So I’m here to let you in on all my Winter Skin Care Favourites! Now I’m a simple (and broke) girl, so the products I use are definitely affordable and last for a good while.
Turmeric Face Masks
I’ve been doing this home made face mask for almost two years and I absolutely love it. I know it looks a little ew, but both honey and turmeric have really good properties (brightening dark spots, anti-inflammatory to name a few) that it allow the results you get to be absolutely worth it.

It’s really simple to make, just four ingredients:
– 2 tablespoons of flour (you can also use ground oats too)
– 1 tablespoon of turmeric
– 3 tablespoons of milk (but you can also use yogurt)
– a few drops of honey
Please remember, turmeric stains, so make sure to wash your face very very well.

Sugar Scrub
Honestly, I saw someone on my snap use this, and I bought it and I have not regretted it since. While a little bit pricey, this sugar scrub literally leaves your skin glowing.

L’Oréal Paris claims that this scrub will ” offer you a unique facial cleansing experience”, and I’ll be honest it does. A little on the pricey side (£9.99), you can get this from any shop that sells L’Oréal skin care.

Face Wash
I’ve been using this for years, and it has never failed me. It has a refreshing scent, a little goes a long long way and it always leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.
I especially use this after I apply a face mask, and it always does the job right.

You can get this from Superdrug (that’s literally my go to because of the discount lmao).

Sheet Mask
I went on holiday last year and I picked up some sheet masks from Bath and Bodyworks on sale, and I have never looked back. I tend to use these after I have washed my face but before I put make up on to go out.

Now I love sheet masks because they give the skin a break while it is absorbing the ingredients in each mask, boosting your skin care routine.
While I’ve run out of that brand, Simple do a range of amazing sheet masks that literally keep my skin moisturised at all times.

Rosehip Oil
Now this little gem is something I found out about in a Twitter thread a year or two ago and trust me in comes in handy during winter. I have pretty oily skin, but during the winter it always helps to keep my skin look glowing.

It has so many properties that make the use of it completely worth it, such as hydrating and moisturising the skin. It also brightens the skin and reduced inflammation.
I bought mine from Amazon, but there are many other branded and non branded versions on the internet.

I hope that my winter routine helps and I will definitely post more stuff that I may have left out on my Instagram story too!
love,
S♡
